Lemonade

Yields: 2 quarts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lemon juice, fresh

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • 3/4 cup white sugar

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • Salt

  • Water

Directions

  • Heat the sugar, honey, and 1 cup water over medium-high heat, whisking until dissolved and steaming.

  • Remove from the heat and add the lemon zest, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.

  • Steep the mixture for at least half an hour.

  • Strain into a pitcher and mix in 6-7 cups of cold water. Refrigerate until cool.
