Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 Bananas, overripe

  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup Canola oil

  • 1/4 cup Milk

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda

  • Salt

  • 1 Banana, ripe (optional)

  • Chocolate chips (optional)

  • Walnuts (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F

  • Chop bananas into large bowl, add sugar, and mash thoroughly.

  • Mix in oil, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  • Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt on top of mixture. Fold together.

  • (Optional) Add chocolate chips and walnuts.

  • Pour batter into greased loaf pan.

  • (Optional) Thinly slice the ripe banana and arrange into two rows of shingles on top of the loaf.

  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until done. Allow to cool before serving.
